This Statewide Growth Assessment was developed with and for the Nevada Primary Care Association (NVPCA1). NVPCA is a non-profit membership organization founded in 1995 to represent and support Nevada’s Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) also referred to as community health centers who, in part through federal and state funding, provide quality health care access to all. Their support of these health centers includes, but is not limited to, the facilitation of initiatives and efforts between the FQHCs themselves as well as with various payers, social service providers, community leaders, and government entities such as public health and Medicaid; the convening of various conferences and educational opportunities led by subject matter experts from Nevada and around the country; and the coordination and provision of various reports and resources meant to inform the health centers’ efforts to expand and enhance their services.
