RWJ Foundation's Evidence for Action: Research to Build a Culture of Health

Under this new initiative, approximately $2.2 million will be awarded annually to fund between five and 12 grants for periods of up to 30 months as part of the Robert Wood Johnson (RWJ) Foundation's larger effort to support building the evidence base for a culture of health.  This program seeks to support rigorous, creative research projects to build and disseminate information for evidence-based approaches to building a culture of health. Accelerating Community-Centered Approaches in Health

The Kresge Foundation offers "Accelerating Community-Centered Approaches in Health" to support innovative population health programs and policies that work to improve health at the community level, including the use of new financial models to achieve cost effective solutions.

Hearst Foundation Grants

Support well-established non-profit organizations across the nation that address issues within four major areas of interest: education, health, culture, and social service. Health interests include cancer, geriatrics, neonatology, perinatology, pediatrics, women's health, and the disabled.
